Establishes a Hawaii immunization registry to maintain a single statewide repository of immunization records.

Allows health care providers to access the registry when patients change providers to ensure appropriate immunizations and prevent unnecessary vaccine doses.

Aims to aid, coordinate, and promote efficient and cost-effective screening, prevention, and control of vaccine preventable diseases, including pandemic influenza.

Effective date changed to upon approval by the Conference Committee.
