Eliminates the statute of limitations for filing workers' compensation claims, allowing claims to be filed at any time after injury.

Retains the requirement that claims must be made in writing to the director of labor and industrial relations after the date of injury and after the injury's effects become manifest.

Removes the previous two-year filing deadline and five-year deadline from the original statute of limitations language.

Removes special provisions that previously exempted occupational diseases (such as exposure to asbestos, lead, radiation) from the standard statute of limitations.

Takes effect upon approval.
