Enables expedited resolution of time-sensitive matters including treatment plan, vocational rehabilitation, and temporary total disability appeals.

Addresses approximately 600 annual appeals from decisions of the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations by distributing cases between hearings officer and Board members.

Allows more effective use of current staff and resources during fiscal constraints while maintaining ability to fast-track cases requiring prompt consideration.

Benefits both employers and employees in workers' compensation appeals by reducing case processing delays.
