Requests the State Historic Preservation Division to assist the Koloa Community Hapa Trail Volunteers with restoration and preservation of the Hapa Trail in perpetuity.

The Hapa Trail, redesignated in 2008, is a historic pedestrian and bike path that formerly served as the main thoroughfare between Koloa and Hanakaape Bay, Hawaii's third largest seaport in the nineteenth century.

Specifically requests assistance in restoring and maintaining 1.2 miles of moss rock stonewalls lining the trail, which have been dismantled and destroyed since the site's historic designation.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, the State Historic Preservation Division Administrator, and the President of the Koloa Community Hapa Trail Volunteers.
