Establish a Joint Legislative Family Court Legal Interventions Working Group to continue studying unresolved recommendations from previous task forces on Family Court Models, Sunshine and Accountability, Temporary Restraining Orders, and Best Interests of the Child.

Working group will include representatives from the Department of Human Services, Department of Health, Hawaii State Bar Association, Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, Hawaii Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and other relevant organizations, plus island representatives from Hawaii, Kauai, Maui, Molokai, and Lanai.

University of Hawaii Social Services Public Policy Center will provide facilitation assistance to the working group.

Working group will submit an interim report no later than twenty days before the 2011 Regular Session and a final report no later than twenty days before the 2012 Regular Session, with any proposed legislation included.

Working group will dissolve on January 1, 2011.
