Requests the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, with assistance from the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, to develop a plan for implementing replicas of Hawaiian hale (traditional structures) on the State Capitol lawn.

Proposes surrounding the hale replicas with appropriate tropical foliage to create rest areas and gathering spaces for visitors and residents.

Cites the significance of preserving Hawaiian culture for the state's traditions and tourism industry, and notes that the Capitol's unique architecture relates to Hawaiian cultural heritage.

Requires the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to submit the implementation plan to the Senate twenty days prior to the 2011 regular session.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs Board of Trustees Chairperson, the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum Board of Directors Chairperson, and the State Historic Preservation Officer.
