Adds retired law enforcement officers who qualify under 18 U.S.C. § 926C to the list of exemptions from Hawaii firearm and ammunition regulations under Section 134-11(a)

Exempts qualified retired officers from sections 134-7 to 134-9 and 134-21 to 134-27 of Hawaii Revised Statutes, with the same restrictions that apply to active law enforcement officers

Maintains existing exemptions for active state and county law enforcement officers, provided they have no convictions for family or household member abuse

Takes effect upon approval
