Requires property owners to conduct an archaeological inventory survey prior to selling or leasing any undeveloped property in Hawaii.

Survey must be submitted to the state historic preservation division for review and approval before the property can be advertised for sale or lease.

If burials are identified during the survey, treatment and mitigation measures must follow sections 6E-43, 6E-43.5, and Chapter 13-300 of Hawaii Administrative Rules.

Historic sites or resources eligible for the Hawaii registry of historic places must be noted on a plan and filed with the bureau of conveyances.

Applies to unimproved real property or property where existing infrastructure and improvements will be demolished and removed.
