Removes the June 30, 2011 sunset date from Act 126, Session Laws of Hawaii 2009, which established revised state water quality standards for marine waters.

Keeps the revised water quality standards in effect until they are replaced by new standards adopted, amended, or repealed by the Department of Health under chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Maintains that the specific water quality standards prescribed in Act 126 remain effective upon their approval by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Takes effect on June 29, 2011.
