Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 431:9A-123 to add exemptions to insurance producer record-keeping requirements for motor vehicle and homeowners insurance.

Exempts producers from maintaining records if the records are customarily maintained in the insurer's offices.

Exempts producers from maintaining records if the records are maintained electronically, are accessible by the producer, and are available within one business day.

Maintains existing exemptions for life insurance and accident and health or sickness insurance where records are customarily maintained by the insurer.

Takes effect upon approval.
