• Exempts real estate brokers and salespersons licensed under chapter 467 from appraiser licensing requirements when providing opinions on estimated property prices, regardless of whether they receive compensation.

• Requires that broker price opinions must be clearly stated as "not an appraisal" and the licensee cannot represent themselves as a certified or licensed appraiser.

• Prohibits real estate licensees from receiving additional compensation, fees, or other consideration for a price opinion if they are already receiving compensation related to the sale of that property.

• Maintains existing exemptions for county-employed real estate appraisers conducting property valuations for ad valorem taxation.

• Takes effect upon approval.
