Adds new section to Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 383 establishing "good cause" for voluntarily leaving part-time employment when an individual qualifies for partial unemployment benefits.

Allows good cause finding when loss of full-time work makes part-time employment economically unfeasible, part-time work is outside customary occupation, employer fails to provide advance notice of schedule changes, or work schedule conflicts with regular full-time employment.

Defines "full-time" as a forty-hour work week unless customary practice differs in a particular trade or business, and "partial unemployment" as earning less than weekly benefit amount while still attached to regular employer with reduced hours due to lack of work.

Defines "suitable work" as employment in the individual's usual occupation or work for which they are reasonably fitted.

Takes effect July 1, 2030.
