Requires the contractors license board to conduct criminal history record checks on all applicants for contractor licenses effective January 1, 2012, in accordance with section 846-2.7 and board-adopted procedures.

Requires the board to conduct criminal history record checks on all persons who held contractor licenses prior to January 1, 2012.

Authorizes the board to adopt rules pursuant to chapter 91 to establish procedures for conducting the required criminal history record checks.

Adds the contractors license board to the list of entities authorized to conduct criminal history record checks under section 846-2.7.

Becomes effective July 1, 2011.
