Directors of health and human services must develop a health and human services delivery plan by December 31, 2012, evaluating service efficiencies and recommending strategies to eliminate service gaps.

The directors must annually review and update the delivery plan, reporting findings and recommendations to the legislature at least 20 days before each regular session.

All health and human services contracts entered after December 31, 2012, must require providers to participate in developing or reviewing the delivery plan.

Department of health shall establish a workplace wellness pilot program to support state employees in adopting healthier lifestyles and reduce chronic disease-related healthcare costs.

Effective date: July 1, 2030.
