• Increases the maximum term for agricultural leases from 35 years to 55 years under HRS §171-37
• Extends the maximum term for tree-crop orchard leases from 45 years to 55 years
• Increases the maximum term for agricultural processing, aquaculture, and related operations from 35 years to 55 years under HRS §171-59
• Maintains exceptions allowing leases to extend up to 75 years when the lessee must occupy the premises as personal residence
• Takes effect upon approval
