Urges the Mayor and City Council of Honolulu to designate Aala Park as a homeless safe zone.

Notes that Aala Park was previously designated as a homeless safe zone during the Fasi Administration and is located near Chinatown and the Institute for Human Services, which provides free meals year-round.

Identifies that the park is equipped with restrooms and water fountains, and that homeless individuals in the area have maintained clean surroundings.

Recognizes that some homeless individuals are uncomfortable in or banned from shelters and that safe zones provide alternatives for those who cannot or will not use structured facilities.

Directs that certified copies be transmitted to the Mayor, City Council Chairperson, Department of Human Services Director, and Chinese Merchants Association.
