Urges the Department of Education to support public high schools in offering ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) classes.

Urges the Department of Education to support public elementary and middle/intermediate schools that teach ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi through Hawaiian culture, arts, and dance as part of the social-studies curriculum.

Urges the Department of Education to allow kupuna (Hawaiian elders) to teach ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi and Hawaiian culture, arts, and dance in public schools.

Highly encourages all private high schools to offer ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi classes at their respective institutions.

Requires certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Superintendent of Education, Chairperson of the Board of Education, and Executive Director of the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools.
