Office of Hawaiian Affairs is requested to convene a Hawaiian Cultural Resources Working Group to develop an action plan for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Hawaiian cultural resources inventory database.

Working group must include representatives from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association, and State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.

Action plan must address online and technology-based accessibility, personnel and financial resources needed, workforce development strategies, the entity to house the database, and a timeline for completion.

Working group is also tasked with identifying a place for Hawaiians to gather and meet.

Office of Hawaiian Affairs must submit the completed action plan to the Governor and Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2012 Regular Session convenes.
