HCR 138 Summary

• Request the State Auditor to conduct a management and financial audit of the Office of Student Services at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

• The Office of Student Services coordinates educational services and programs within the Office of Student Affairs and develops university policies related to student affairs, including advising students on discrimination, academic disputes, grievances, and conduct code issues.

• Auditor shall submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature not later than twenty days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2012.

• Require certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Auditor, Board of Regents Chairperson, University of Hawaii President, and Dean of Student Services at UH Manoa.
