Requests the Department of Transportation, Airports Division to restore the original land area allocated to the Kona Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol and enlarge the building facility to its originally approved design size, including paved parking and drill practice areas.

Requests the Department of Transportation, Airports Division to assist the Kona Composite Squadron in acquiring up-to-date emergency equipment, including solar backup systems that do not require direct electricity.

Recognizes the squadron's 30+ years of service in West Hawaii with over 50 cadet and adult members, including their emergency response during the 2006 earthquake and contributions to Air Force Academy placements.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Mayor of Hawaii County, Department of Transportation Director, Department of Defense, Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency, and legislative leadership.
