Requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources and other state and county agencies to protect and preserve the ahupuaa (Hawaiian land divisions) surrounding Na Wai Eha in Maui, including Wailuku, Waiehu, Ahikulu, and Waihee.

Designates the Na Wai Eha area as culturally significant due to burial sites and three historic heiau located in Wailuku and on the mountain ridges of Polipoli and Mauna Alani.

Supports curbing development and recreational use of lands in the ahupuaa surrounding Na Wai Eha to prevent disturbances to ancient burial sites and heiau.

Expresses the Legislature's support for limiting development to allow recharge of streamflow to the ground water supply that sustains more than half of Maui's residents and visitors, as waters have been diverted for over a century.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Board of Land and Natural Resources Chairperson, Commission on Water Resource Management Chairperson, Maui Mayor, and Maui County Council Chairperson.
