Establishes a Hawaii State Fall Prevention and Early Detection Task Force to develop a statewide approach to reducing falls among older adults, with the Director of the Executive Office on Aging designated as Chair.

Task Force composition includes 4 members appointed by the Governor, 4 by the Senate President, 4 by the House Speaker, and 9 ex-officio members representing state health agencies, county aging offices, Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, and the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Task Force directed to investigate fall injury dangers, fiscal impacts on healthcare, recommend prevention programs and interventions, enhance public awareness, and expand screening and referral roles for medical professionals.

Members must be appointed by July 1, 2011, with Task Force to convene by August 15, 2011, and submit an interim report 20 days before the 2012 legislative session and final report 20 days before the 2013 legislative session.

Department of Health and Executive Office on Aging to provide administrative support, and Legislative Reference Bureau to draft any proposed legislation from the Task Force.
