Urges the Mayor of Honolulu and Honolulu City Council to grant an exemption from Section 15-14.1(a)(2) of the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu for the Ho'okea community in Ewa Villages.

Section 15-14.1(a)(2) prohibits parking in front of driveways or within four feet of either side of any driveway, creating severe parking shortages in the high-density Ho'okea neighborhood.

Ho'okea comprises six streets (Halolani, Auwaha, Paeko, Kamahoi, Olehala, and Maliko) and was built as an affordable housing project in 1970 with road designs that predate the 1978 parking ordinance.

The neighborhood's original design and high concentration of multi-vehicle households make compliance with current parking restrictions impractical for residents.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Mayor, City Council Chairperson, and Director of the Department of Planning and Permitting.
