Request the Department of Transportation to conduct a feasibility study on vehicular safety improvements for Roosevelt Bridge, which spans Kipapa Gulch and was built in 1933.

Direct the study to explore bridge widening, improved lighting, safety precautions, and planning alternatives to address long-standing community concerns about safety.

Require the Department of Transportation to submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2012 Regular Session, including final cost estimates, discussion of potential impediments, and recommendations to overcome them.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Governor, the Director of Transportation, and relevant City and County of Honolulu officials.
