Requests the Governor to ensure Chief Procurement Officers comply with Hawaii Public Procurement Code preferences for Hawaii products to support the State's agriculture industry and food security.

References section 103D-1002, Hawaii Revised Statutes, which provides procurement preferences for purchases of Hawaii products, including food raised or grown within the State.

Directs the State Procurement Office Administrator to distribute copies of the resolution to all Chief Procurement Officers for implementation of existing procurement preferences.

Recognizes that most Hawaii agriculture businesses qualify as small businesses eligible for bid solicitation preferences under part IX of chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Aims to create a reliable market for Hawaii agricultural producers through aggressive implementation of existing procurement preferences, thereby increasing local food production and security.
