Requests the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism submit a status report to the Legislature by 20 days prior to the 2012 Regular Session detailing promotion efforts, accomplishments, challenges, and entities contacted regarding international conference hosting.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, Secretary of State, Director of Business/Economic Development/Tourism, and Hawaii's congressional delegation.
