Authorizes the Board of Land and Natural Resources to allow the Department of Transportation to enter into a development agreement with a private developer for development of approximately 65 acres at Kona International Airport at Keahole.

Property identified as tax map key (3) 7-3-43:1 on the island of Hawaii is currently underutilized and lacks necessary infrastructure for general aviation facilities.

Development agreement will enable private developer to construct necessary infrastructure and on-site improvements while increasing property value and returns to the State.

Agreement must comply with section 171-60, Hawaii Revised Statutes, which authorizes leasing public lands for airport, airport-related, industrial, commercial, or business uses.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and the Director of Transportation.
