Urges the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services to fund and install a traffic light signal at the intersection of Honowai and Waipahu Streets in Waipahu.

Identifies the intersection as a major traffic chokepoint in the growing Waipahu community where congestion can back up more than ten cars during peak hours.

Notes that alternative routes via Hene and Hoaeae Streets are out-of-the-way and routinely congested, limiting bypass options for motorists.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be sent to the Director of Transportation Services, Director of Transportation, Chief of Police of the Honolulu Police Department, and the Chairperson of the Waipahu Neighborhood Board.
