Supports DW Aina Le'a Development LLC's continued development of 1,062 acres between Mauna Lani resort and Waikoloa Village on Hawaii's Big Island, which was reclassified from agricultural to urban use in 1989.

Requires development of at least 385 affordable housing units on the property as mandated by Land Use Commission orders, with affordability determined by the County of Hawaii Office of Housing and Community Development.

Acknowledges DW Aina Le'a Development LLC has employed over 350 local workers and invested more than $25 million with local vendors and contractors during initial development phases.

Notes the developer has formed investment partnerships with entities in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Japan to fund the project through tenant in common property interests.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the County of Hawaii Mayor, Council Chairperson, Planning Director, and the President of DW Aina Le'a Development LLC.
