Request that the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and the Department of Human Services continue data exchanges to verify eligibility of Medicaid recipients.

Require the departments to ensure any exchanged data is handled securely and appropriately.

Direct the departments to submit a report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2012, including actions taken, findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation.

Acknowledge that Hawaii expends over $1,000,000,000 annually on Medicaid assistance and the need to ensure recipient eligibility.
