Request that the United States Navy remove invasive plants, excessive foliage, and other debris from the coastline of lower Waipahu.

Address the presence of abandoned vehicles and tires that make the shoreline inaccessible and unattractive to residents and visitors.

Note that a previous 2008 House Resolution 163, S.D. 1 made a similar request to the Navy, but no action has been taken.

Authorize transmission of certified copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Navy, Hawaii Congressional Delegation, and local Waipahu community representatives.
