Recognizes February 2012 as "Hawai'i-Grown Cacao Month" to educate and promote public awareness of the benefits of Hawaii-grown cacao.

Notes that Hawaii is the only U.S. state that can commercially grow cacao and is positioned to benefit from the $75 billion worldwide cacao market.

Highlights that Hawaii-grown cacao commands a price premium 2-4 times higher than fine flavor cacao traded in world markets, according to E. Guittard Chocolate.

Identifies the cacao industry as an economic opportunity for job creation, diversified agriculture, production, processing, and research and development that could draw federal funding.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Director of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, and the mayors of Kauai, Maui, Hawaii counties and Honolulu.
