Commemorates the 50th anniversary of Morihei Ueshiba's inaugural visit to Hawaii in February 1961, when the Founder of Aikido traveled to bridge different countries through Aikido philosophy and training.

Recognizes Aikido as a Japanese martial arts principle emphasizing harmony, blending energy with opponents, and redirecting force with minimal effort to achieve peaceful conflict resolution.

Acknowledges Moriteru Ueshiba, Morihei Ueshiba's grandson and lineal descendant, who will preside over and participate in the Aikido Celebration 2011.

Encourages the Aikido Celebration 2011 to promote goodwill and fellowship among Aikido practitioners in Hawaii and throughout the world.

Honors those who have devoted time and energy to perpetuating the martial art of Aikido for the benefit of humankind.
