Strongly urges the Pest Control Board to develop and adopt standards for pest control operators and termite inspection reports prior to the 2013 Regular Session of the Hawaii Legislature.

Requires the Pest Control Board to consider input from pest control industry representatives and interested members of the public when developing termite inspection report standards.

Directs the Pest Control Board to submit a progress report on pest control operator and termite inspection standards no later than 20 days before the 2012 Regular Session convenes.

Addresses the lack of industry standards to guide Hawaii pest control operators in conducting termite inspections and help evaluate complaints under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 460J-15.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Pest Control Board Chairperson, Regulated Industries Complaints Office, and the Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
