Urges Congress and the President to support the Filipino Veterans Family Reunification Act of 2009 (S. 671 and H.R. 2412) to exempt children of Filipino World War II veterans from numerical limitations on immigrant visas

Recognizes that nearly 100,000 Filipino soldiers fought alongside U.S. forces during World War II when the Philippines was a U.S. commonwealth, defending Bataan and Corregidor and enduring the Bataan Death March

Notes the 1946 Rescission Act denied Filipino veterans equal benefits and immigration rights, making them the only national group singled out for such denial

Acknowledges that while 1990 legislation granted citizenship waivers to Filipino veterans, it did not adequately address family reunification for their children still awaiting visas in the Philippines

Requests certified copies be sent to the President, members of Congress, Hawaii's congressional delegation, and various federal and state officials
