References a survey by the Patsy T. Mink Political Action Committee finding that 72 percent of eligible women voters prioritize family and everyday issues over political participation, and cite limited candidate knowledge, apathy, and distrust of the system as barriers to engagement.

Notes that a majority of surveyed women have never contacted elected officials and only 4 percent believe their concerns would be taken seriously if voiced.

Requests the Legislature encourage women to take active roles in public life, provide educational opportunities and family care support, and involve women more fully in policymaking and legislative planning.

Requests the Legislature prioritize issues important to women including the high cost of living, higher quality education, affordable housing, and more job opportunities.
