Urges the Mayor and City Council of Honolulu to designate Aala Park as a homeless safe zone.

Notes that Aala Park was previously a homeless safe zone during the Fasi Administration and is equipped with restrooms and water fountains, located near Chinatown and the Institute for Human Services which provides free meals year-round.

Recognizes that some homeless individuals do not feel comfortable in or have been banned from area shelters, and that safe zones provide an alternative for those unwilling or unable to live in structured facilities.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Mayor, City Council Chairperson, Director of the Department of Human Services, and the Chinese Merchants Association.
