S.B. 1064 Summary

• Appropriates funds to implement collective bargaining agreement cost items for collective bargaining unit (4) employees across fiscal years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.

• Allocates funding through program planning, analysis, and budgeting (BUF 101) for executive branch employees, judiciary employees, and Hawaii health systems corporation employees.

• Provides salary increases and cost adjustments for state officers and employees excluded from collective bargaining who belong to the same compensation plans as unit (4) employees, per Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 89C.

• Specifies that salary increases funded from federal, special, or other funds shall be paid proportionately from respective funding sources.

• Funds not expended or encumbered by June 30, 2012, and June 30, 2013, shall lapse; Act takes effect July 1, 2011.
