Amends Section 704-406 of Hawaii Revised Statutes to establish a compliance reporting mechanism for persons found unfit to stand trial who are released on conditions to the community.

Requires the department of health to establish and monitor a fitness restoration plan for defendants released on conditions and to inform the department of public safety's intake service center of the plan and defendant compliance.

Directs the intake service center to take appropriate action, including reporting any violations to the court for possible revocation of release conditions.

Changes statutory language from "condition" to "conditions" to clarify that courts can impose multiple release conditions on unfit defendants.

Becomes effective upon approval.
