Permits nonprofit corporation members to take action by electronically-transmitted ballots without holding a meeting, provided quorum and voting thresholds are met.

Allows membership meetings to be conducted through electronic communications technology including the Internet, teleconference, or other electronic transmission that enables members to view proceedings, vote, ask questions, and make comments.

Authorizes corporations to provide notice to members and directors by electronic transmission with prior consent, which may be revoked in writing or by electronic transmission.

Permits ballots to be signed using electronic signatures in accordance with Hawaii's uniform electronic transactions law (chapter 489E).

Removes obsolete provisions restricting mail-in director elections to corporations managing planned communities with 2,500+ voting members.
