HI SB1361

Amends the definition of "community care foster family home" to add requirements for homes seeking to care for a third adult client.

Requires that a home must be certified and in operation for at least one year before the department may certify it to care for a third adult at the nursing facility level of care who is a Medicaid recipient.

Requires that primary and substitute caregivers must be certified nurse aides who have completed a state-approved training program and other training required by the department.

Maintains existing regulations that community care foster family homes provide 24-hour living accommodations and personal care services for unrelated adults receiving licensed home and community-based case management services.
