Department of Education and Board of Education must develop policies and procedures allowing home-schooled students to participate on an equal basis in extracurricular activities at their assigned public school.

Policies must address participation fees as a prerequisite to participate in extracurricular activities.

Policies must address whether home-schooled students participating in extracurricular activities are included in the public school's pupil enrollment count.

Policies must address any other eligibility requirements for home-schooled student participation in extracurricular activities.

Department of Education must report findings and policy development status to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2012 regular legislative session convenes.
