Establishes a temporary domestic violence and citizen's family law advisory task force within the judiciary to gather input, conduct studies, and make recommendations on family court issues.

Task force composition includes one House member, one Senate member, the Director of Human Services, one family law attorney, three family and children service providers, and one mental health professional or guardian ad litem, all appointed by the governor or legislative leaders.

Task force members serve without compensation or expense reimbursement, and all proceedings and records are exempt from Hawaii's public meeting law (Chapter 92, HRS).

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the judiciary and legislature no later than twenty days before the 2012 and 2013 regular legislative sessions.

Task force terminates on June 30, 2013.
