Requests the Auditor to conduct a fiscal and compliance audit of the state educational facilities improvement special fund established by Act 368 (1989).

The fund receives a portion of general excise tax revenues and is designated for planning, designing, acquiring land for, and constructing public school facilities under the Department of Education's jurisdiction.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature and Governor no later than twenty days before the 2012 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Auditor, and Superintendent of Education.
