Requests the Governor to proclaim April 30, 2011, as "Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day"

Recognizes that the U.S. Senate declared April 30, 2011, as Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day on March 8, 2011, to provide Vietnam veterans with a long overdue welcome home

Acknowledges that Vietnam veterans did not receive typical supportive homecomings due to civil unrest and political division during that historical period

States that Vietnam veterans' courage and dedication equaled that of servicemembers in other conflicts and deserve honor, gratitude, and support

Requires transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Adjutant General, Veterans Administration, state veteran services, and veteran organizations including VFW, DAV, Vietnam Veterans of America, and American Legion
