Recognizes Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikolani College of Hawaiian Language at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo for achieving World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium (WINHEC) accreditation.

Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikolani was the first college in the United States within a mainstream institution to receive WINHEC accreditation in 2009.

In 2010, the P-20 Hawaiian Mauli Ola Education System (preschool to graduate school) at Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikolani became the first WINHEC-accredited program spanning preschool through graduate education.

Celebrates the college's accomplishments in revitalizing the Hawaiian language and creating an educational model using Hawaiian as the language of instruction, administration, and socialization.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikolani, the University of Hawaiʻi System President, Board of Regents Chair, and University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Chancellor.
