Requests the Governor to proclaim April 30, 2011, as "Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day" in Hawaii

Recognizes that the United States ended direct involvement in the Vietnam War on January 27, 1973, with the Paris Peace Accords, and all American military and civilians had departed South Vietnam by April 30, 1973

Acknowledges that Vietnam veterans did not receive supportive homecomings due to civil unrest and political division during that period, despite their courage and dedication equal to other servicemembers

References the U.S. Senate's declaration of April 30, 2011, as "Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day" to provide veterans with a long overdue warm welcome home

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Adjutant General, and veteran service organizations including the VA, Hawaii Office of Veteran Services, VFW, DAV, Vietnam Veterans of America, and American Legion
