Recognizes and honors organ and tissue donors and their families for life-saving contributions and sacrifices.

Notes that over 110,000 people nationally and over 400 in Hawaii are on transplant waiting lists, with one donor able to enhance the lives of more than 40 persons.

Acknowledges the Hawaii Donor Family Council's creation of Hawaii Donor Family Quilts and the book "Nā Makana Pau ʻOle" to honor donors and their families, with an official dedication scheduled for April 3.

Recognizes support organizations including the Hawaii Donor Family Council, Hawaii Lions Eye Bank and Makana Foundation, National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, Legacy of Life Hawaii, and Hawaii Coalition on Donation.

Encourages Hawaii residents to register as organ and tissue donors and commit to healthy living.
