Requests the Department of Education to study the feasibility of including grade-appropriate environmental education curricula at each grade level in Hawaii's public schools.

Directs the Department to submit a report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2013, including recommendations for legislation to implement environmental curricula.

Cites California's recent release of the first state-approved K-12 environmental curriculum as a pilot program in nineteen districts as a model for consideration.

Emphasizes that environmental knowledge and awareness are essential for preserving Hawaii's unique and fragile environment, particularly when instilled in youth.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Superintendent of Education, Chairperson of the Board of Education, and Executive Director of the Charter School Administrative Office.
