Recognizes Ka Haka Ula O Ke'elikolani College of Hawaiian Language at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo for achieving full accreditation by the World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium (WINHEC) in 2009.

Notes that Ka Haka Ula O Ke'elikolani was the first college in the United States within a mainstream institution to receive WINHEC accreditation.

Acknowledges the 2010 WINHEC accreditation of the P-20 Hawaiian Mauli Ola Education System, the first preschool-to-graduate school program accredited by WINHEC, which uses Hawaiian as the language of instruction, administration, and socialization.

Honors over thirty years of efforts by Hawaiian language speakers, their descendants, and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs in supporting Hawaiian language and culture throughout Hawaii's educational system.

Directs transmission of certified copies of this resolution to the Director of Ka Haka Ula O Ke'elikolani, the University of Hawai'i System President, Board of Regents Chair, and University of Hawai'i at Hilo Chancellor.
